The Triple P – Positive Parenting Programme is one of the most effective evidence-based parenting programmes in the world, backed up by more than 35 years of on-going research. The programme offers parenting information, tips, skills and proven strategies to help parents respond to the questions and needs that inevitably arise in their families. This helps to prevent problems in the family, school and community and to create family environments that encourage children to realise their potential. It does not tell you as a parent how to raise your children, but gives you the confidence and skills to build good relationships with their child, set boundaries and rules, confidently manage your children’s behaviour and prevent problems developing. It is flexible to the needs of individual families; this sets it apart from many other parenting programmes. You decide what strategy fits your family.
